O cronógrafo continua a ser dos tipos de relógio mais populares. Há milhares de modelos: grandes e pequenos; mecânicos e de quartzo; acessíveis e dispendiosos…

Os fabricantes japoneses possuem no seu catálogo imensos modelos acessíveis, mas não é fácil encontrar peças do meu agrado – o resultado final tende a ser demasiado busy para o meu gosto.

Este cronógrafo da Citizen é um excelente exemplo do tipo cronógrafo que me agrada, com um mostrador simples, limpo e de grande legibilidade.

Inspirado nos desenhos de relógios militares, possui uma caixa de aço relativamente grande (43mm), vidro mineral e resistência à água até 100 metros. A bracelete, de estilo militar, é de nylon.

O mostrador é graduado de forma a permitir a medição do tempo em incrementos de 1/5 de segundo através do ponteiro de segundos grande e até um máximo de 60 minutos (totalizador de minutos às 12 horas; o mostrador à 9 horas é um indicador de 12/24 horas e não um totalizador). A data é indicada às 3 horas. O movimento de quartzo é um Eco-Drive B612 alimentado pela luz.

O preço oficial é de £199, mas é possível encontrá-lo à venda online por cerca de €200.

Der Albatros ist eine portugiesische Uhren der Marke gehört zur Cronos - Gruppe, die auch die Besitzer Eletta und vertreibt in Portugal viele weitere Marken Mode .
Während Eletta in erster Linie für ein weibliches Publikum gedacht ist, widmet sich Albatross der anderen Hälfte der Bevölkerung.

Normalerweise interessiere ich mich nicht sonderlich für die Albatross-Modelle, aber ich erkenne, dass die neuen Oxfords (es gibt drei Modelle mit unterschiedlichen Farben von Zifferblatt und Armband) mich überrascht haben - natürlich auf eine gute Art und Weise. Ihr Hauptinteresse liegt darin, dass sie auf dem (noch) ungewöhnlichen Miyota 0S00Quarzwerk basieren , so wie ich es gerade über eine andere, noch teurere Uhr gesagt habe .

Mit einem Preis von nur 150 Euro, das ist ein Chronograph mit Tag und Datum 3H00, Stahlgehäuse von relativ großen (46mm) und ein Gesamtbild, das mir gefällt, vor allem mit großen arabischen Ziffern auf sogar Stunden, ausgeglichen mit Markierungen einfach für ungerade Stunden. Ich Snob auch einen Albatros zu kaufen, aber ich muss zugeben, dass der Preis ist unwiderstehlich zu dem, was hier angeboten wird.

Obris Morgan Aegis

A Obris Morgan é uma jovem empresa baseada em Hong Kong, especializada em relógios de mergulho, que utiliza exclusivamente movimentos automáticos Citizen/Miyota e que descobri no fórum DezDez.
Uma das coisas que me agrada nestes relógios é a sua purposefulness, isto é, são relógios em que a estética segue a função, sem que por isso deixem de ser equilibrados e bonitos.
Veja-se o caso deste Aegis (palavra que designa o escudo de Zeus), o qual está disponível num total de 15 variantes: 5 com caixa em aço e acabamento escovado; 5 com acabamento mate ("sand blasted"); e 5 com acabamento em PVD preto.
O Aegis é um relógio de mergulho resistente à água até 200 metros, equipado com válvula de hélio (coisa rara em relógios com resistência inferior a 300 metros) e baseado num movimento high beat (4Hz) Miyota 9015. Este movimento apresenta normalmente a data às 3h00, mas a Obris Morgan rodou ligeiramente o movimento de forma a que a coroa (de rosca, com triplo selo) e a janela de data passassem para as 4H00.

A dimensão da caixa é de 42mm de diâmetro e a marca dotou este modelo de acabamentos de alto nível, entre eles uma soberba bracelete de 5 segmentos de largura e mostrador com vidro de safira de 2,4 mm de espessura.

O bisel, de rotação unidirecional, tem uma espessura correta – nem muito largo, nem muito estreito face à dimensão total da caixa – tem uma suave operação de 120 "clics"; a visibilidade no escuro é garantida pela aplicação de Superluminova nos índices e ponteiros.

O relógio está esgotado mas pode ser pré-encomendado a partir de Abril. O preço, que me parece muito bom, é de 279 dólares (€250), já com portes para qualquer lado do mundo. Contudo, há que contar com custos de desalfandegamento e IVA.
