PopSwatch – The Next Watch Craze?

If you read our Blogs regularly you will know the designer watch industry is currently all about colourful plastic and silicon watches at the moment. Brands such as Ice-Watch and ToyWatch are dominating this craze; however what’s the next craze?

Could it be time for the return of the PopSwatch which was originally launched in 1986? I remember this trend very much so as I had one as a child myself. The pop out dials were reversible as they had two different dial faces. The nylon watch straps where also interchange able making the watches interactive with the user allowing the watches to be customized to your personal choice. The watch industry seems to be going down this road so does this mean the return of the PopSwatch is upon us? Who knows but you heard it here first at TicWatches.
